We are one month away from the West Coast Swift National, and Swift National in Cleburne, TX, KCPT is Oct 4-8. Please plan on attending one or both of these fly-ins.

We are one month away from the West Coast Swift National, here is the tentative Schedule of Events:
WESTOVER
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
THURSDAY
Early Bird arrival – unstructured dinner.
FRIDAY
Swift Store and Registration open at 10:00 AM to 3:00PM
Lunch on field – 11:30 AM
Fly-out to Sanders Aircraft Eagles Nest Airport – tour
(subject to change) – approximately 2:00pm
Bar B Que Dinner on Field at 7:00pm- donation bar 6:00 pm
Brad Stahls hangar (please see your welcome packet for further information.
Hospitality room at Amador Best Western Inn (after dinner)
Please note – shuttle does not run after 10:00pm
SATURDAY
Swift Store and Registration open at 10:00am to 12:30 pm
Lunch on Field 11:30 AM
Wine Tasting tours- approximately 11:30 AM (more information to follow)
Jewelry creating event –on field 1:00pm (approximately)
Viewers judging of aircraft until 12:30 pm – Viewer’s choice ballots must be turned into registration by 12:30 pm
7:00 pm-Dinner at Highway House banquet room (formerly Thomi’s)
No Host Bar 6:00pm to 7:00pm
Hospitality room open at Amador Best Western Inn – after Dinner
SUNDAY
Departures – HAVE A SAFE AND PLEASANT FLIGHT HOME
It is not too late to get a room–we have a block of rooms at the Best Western Amador Inn, 209-223-0211. Say you are with the Swift group. Rate is $85 per night which includes the shuttle service back and forth to the airport.
We have a great time with Swift fellowship and camaraderie at this fly-in—looking forward to seeing you.

The RRSW is hosting Swift National at Cleburne, TX, KCPT. More info will be forthcoming in the next several months. Put on your calendar and plan to attend.

We are moving along on the preparation for the Swift Flyin at Cleburne, TX 10/4 thru 10/8/2017. The following are motels we have booked rooms:
Our Hospitality Room will be at the Hampton Inn where we have booked 40 rooms presently. We are hopeful that we can get more. We also have booked 40 rooms at the Holiday Inn Express about a city block from the Hampton Inn.
We will have a service that will serve both locations with transportation to and from the airport. We also have made arrangements with Enterprise Car Rental for pickup and return of cars at the airport for those who would like to have their own vehicles. Yes, it is early; however, I suggest that you start booking rooms now, to avoid any disappointment later. You can always cancel! Be certain to mention that you are with the Swift group to get the special rate. Here are the local numbers for these:

Legend of Flight Pancake Breakfast
The Legends of Flight Museum puts on a pancake breakfast the fourth Saturday of the month, April thru October. See flyer.
This is a nice get together with a wide variety of aircraft to peruse. I would encourage you to attend.
