Soon the fly-in and Air Show season will be upon us. Hopefully we all have our Swifts and ourselves up to par to enjoy the good flying weather coming up. Major fly-ins on the schedule include Swift National back at Athens, TN; Northwest Swifters at Cottage Grove, OR; West Coast Swift National at Westover Field, Jackson, CA; and RRSW at Pecan Plantation, TX.
Westover 2016 Sept 23-25
Carol and Gerry Hampton are well into planning for the West Coast Swift National. We are planning on wine tasting again. We will have a formation school if there is a demand. More later.
Swift National 2016 June 8-12
The 70th Anniversary of the Swift will be celebrated during Swift National at Athens, TN. In addition, the new facilities will be up and operating to include the Saturday Night Banquet hosted in our own new hangar facilities on site. Early registration will help the committee’s with planning and contribute to a more enjoyable Swift National. If for some reason you can-not register early we and your friends would love to see you at National at any time…so come on out and join the fun.
